What causes a light-emitting diode (LED) to emit light?
Pick an answer to check it.
Answer: A. Forward current
An LED gives off light when current flows through it in the forward direction. With reverse voltage, almost no current flows and the LED stays dark.
Tip: Forward current makes an LED glow.
