In an ARQ mode, what is meant by a NAK response to a transmitted packet?
Pick an answer to check it.
Answer: A. Request retransmission of the packet
In ARQ (automatic repeat request) modes, a NAK (negative acknowledgment) tells the sender the packet had errors, requesting retransmission of the packet. An ACK means it was received correctly.
Tip: NAK = not okay, send it again.
