How is the efficiency of an RF power amplifier determined?
Pick an answer to check it.
Answer: B. Divide the RF output power by the DC input power
Efficiency is useful output divided by what you put in: RF output power divided by DC input power. For example, 100 W out from 200 W in is 50 percent.
Tip: Efficiency = RF out / DC in.
