Which of the following would cause your FM transmission audio to drop out on voice peaks?
Pick an answer to check it.
Answer: C. You are talking too loudly
Talking too loudly overdrives the audio and causes too much FM deviation. The repeater or receiver may then cut out on voice peaks. Lower deviation or more power would not cause dropouts.
Tip: Speak at normal volume, a few inches from the microphone.
