How close to the lower edge of a band's phone segment should your displayed carrier frequency be when using 3 kHz wide LSB?
Pick an answer to check it.
Answer: A. At least 3 kHz above the edge of the segment
An LSB signal extends about 3 kHz below the displayed carrier frequency. To keep the whole signal inside the segment, set the carrier at least 3 kHz above the lower edge.
Tip: LSB: stay 3 kHz above the bottom.
